Edmonton Scottish and Edmonton Angels History
Edmonton Scottish was founded in 1907 and won its first Challenge Trophy in 2016. Among its roster are former FC Edmonton players, Paul Hamilton and Sam Lam, along with players with European experience such as Haris Kevac, Amer Halilic, and Francesco Saporito.
The Edmonton Angels are Canada's most successful women's team, with 9 Jubilee Trophies including 5 straight national titles between 1982 and 1986. They are coached by Canada Soccer legend Janine Helland and will count Danica Wu among the players on their roster (who notably played in the 2012 Olympics rematch vs. USA).
Both teams are recognized as Organisations of Distinction by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame.
